Le Fleurmier

Le Fleurmier, produced by la Laiterie Charlevoix is a typical soft cheese with a bloomy rind. The milkcomesfromvallée du Gouffre herds in Baie-Saint-Paul. This cheese is made by the solubilized curd method, which maximizes quality for this type of product. With a rich and velvety texture and a fruity, nutty flavour, it has no aftertaste. Texture improves with age and taste develops without bitterness

Preparation and uses

Le Fleurmier can be savoured on any occasion, in the morning on toast or at the end the meal accompanied by a good red wine or still with a dry white Burgundy-type wine. Refrigerate 30 to 45 minutes before serving. It can also be served as an entrée or as a dessert when served warm with various accompaniments such honey, nuts, fruit, jams, etc.
